VLORA: BAD WEATHER CONTINUES, SUSPENDED WORK IN THE PORT

Bad weather, accompanied by a strong wind and sea state 6-7, counteracts the anchoring of two ferries of the Brindis-Vlora line. Arrived at 07.00 am, none of the two ferries could not be anchored in the harbor. On board of the two ferries there are about 300 passengers, who left Monday night Italy to Vlora, along with various vehicles. It learns from the Harbor Master of Vlora that the ferry attempted to enter the port, but due to bad weather it was impossible his anchor. It is believed that just after noon the situation could stabilize.

Bad weather started from the early hours of the morning, with a strong wind and the force seven sea, which has not made the difficult situation not only to the ferries but also to a cargo ship which has been unable to do the anchoring because there was the risk of a possible collision with the pier. Work in port yards are suspended attests to an improvement of the situation.
