CAULIFLOWER AND ZUCCHINI IN BATTER

Prepare the cauliflower and zucchini in batter will be an excellent idea for the appetizers, hot and crispy, but can also be served as a side dish. It is a dish that can be offered in many different variations and that will always be appreciated, also ideal to serve, and to propose an appetizer buffet.

Ingredients

300 g of cauliflower

1 zucchini

Ingredients for the batter

200 g flour 00

2 eggs

1 glass of milk

1 teaspoon of yeast of beer

Preparation

The cauliflower will be deprived of the stems, reduced into small florets and put to boil in salted water for about 15 minutes. The zucchini, instead, will go through a grater by large holes, sprinkled with salt and set aside to rest for 30 minutes.

After this period the zucchini will squeeze using a cloth and added in a bowl. In a bowl put egg with salt and pepper, then add milk and flour. Mix everything well and to also add a teaspoon of baking powder. Then cover your batter with a cloth and let stand until it has almost doubled its initial volume.

Add zucchini and cauliflower to the batter. With a spoon formed small portions and put them in very hot oil. Continue until the dough is finished.

The cauliflower and zucchini in batter will be eaten piping hot after their preparation. They keep for at most a couple of hours ago they were made.
